12 Green Acres are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We do not request your consent to share your personal details with third parties who buy customer lists because we have no intention to ever sell, rent or loan to any third party any information from which our customers may be identified. The only circumstances when we may provide details, identifiable to you, to third parties are where we are required to do so by law, in order to administer your order (see section on Payment Details below), where necessary to safeguard the proper operation of our systems and where required for business succession reasons.

We will hold your details on our internal system . We do our best to ensure the security of your details by using up to date industry practices to guard against unauthorised access, use, disclosure or loss.

It is possible to view our site without providing any personal details. However, without registering your details you will not be able to order on line.

We will only ask for personal information from you where it is necessary for us to provide our service to you. We will only collect information where it is specifically and knowingly provided by you. For example, we will ask for your name, address, telephone number and payment details.

We will use this information to process your order and payment.

We may also review the products you buy to enable us to give you information about products and services that you may be interested in.

We may occasionally need to contact you to enable us to fulfil your order correctly. Your payment details, credit card numbers etc. will remain within the operational system at 12 Green Acres. They will be processed using a system using up to date security technology supported by our bank Beyond this, they will never be shared with any third party except in the limited circumstances explained above.

We will never email you asking you for your payment details; please be wary of fraudulent requests for your card details via this route.

12 Green Acres use a feature of your Internet Web Browser called a 'Cookie' on our site. A Cookie is a file that your Web Browser places on your computer's hard disc which allows us to help you get the best out of your visit to the site.

We offer you the option of automatic login to our system, which means that our system will recognise you and will log you in automatically when you access the site from your usual computer. This service works by using Cookies. The auto-login service is provided at your own risk: please do not enable auto login if you are using a shared computer. The basket service on the website also uses Cookies to remember the products you want to order until you log on or create an account, when the order can be added to your account.
